Privacy Policy

Yodi (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use yodi.com.au or request a delivery, how we use it, and your rights.

Information we collect

When you submit a delivery request, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, delivery address, preferred delivery date and time, and the store/items you’d like delivered. If you choose to attach screenshots of your cart, we collect those too. We do not collect payment details through this website.

Location (optional)

The order form lets you pin your exact location on a map, which helps our driver find you in apartment blocks, units behind shops and similar. This is entirely optional, and the form works without it.

If you tap “Use my current location”, your browser will ask your permission first, and you can decline. We never request your location automatically, and declining doesn’t stop you placing an order. You can drop the pin manually or skip it altogether. When shared, the coordinates are sent to us with your delivery request and used only to complete that delivery. They are not tracked over time, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone beyond what’s needed to deliver your order. The map itself is provided by OpenStreetMap.

How we use it

We use this information solely to arrange, confirm and deliver your requested items, and to contact you about your order. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Storage and security

The details you type into the form are sent directly to our business email and are not kept in any separate customer database.

Screenshots you attach are the one exception: they are uploaded to our file storage provider (Vercel Blob) so they can be included with your request, and they are reachable by anyone who has the exact link. The links are long and randomised rather than guessable, and the files are automatically deleted after 7 days. If you’d rather not upload images, you can send your request without them and we’ll ask for the details by reply.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect this information in transit and in our inbox.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not collect anything that identifies you personally, which is why you aren’t asked to accept cookies here.
